Roger studied business at Cranfield Business School, Loughborough, Staffordshire and Wolverhampton Universities. Gaining an MBA in 1998 he studied international business in England, America, and Europe. Is a Member of the Chartered Management Institute with a first degree in Building Construction. Having a passion for historic buildings and canal regeneration from early in his career eventually moving into consultancy to pass on the benefits of many years experience. He is Midlands Regional Chairman of the Association of Preservation Trusts, a Trustee of West Midlands Historic Building Trust and Chairman of the Waterways Craft Guild.
